Star dog

I've just watched a touching dog movie not long ago called "10 promises to my dog". I think the movie had only just started for awhile and Sheldon was sobbing already. I felt the heartache when the dog name 'socks' passes away due to old age. So sad can! I must say that the Japanese are really good in making sad/touching dog-human relationship movie.

The 10 promises goes like these:

1. Give me time to understand what you want of me.
2. Place your trust in me. Its crucial to my well being.
3. Be aware that how you treat me, I'll never forget it.
4. Before you scold me for being lazy, ask yourself if something might be bothering me.
5. Talk to me sometimes. Even if I don't understand your words, I do understand your voice when its speaking to me.
6. Remember, before you hit me, I have teeth that could hurt you. But I choose not to bite you.
7. Take care of me when I get old.
8. You have your social life and friends. But as for me, you are my whole world, I only have you.
9. My lifespan is around 12-14 years, any separation from you will be painful to me.
10. Be by my side when I'm dying, everything will be easier for me and remember I love you.

We dog owners ought to be feeling guilty after reading this. For example, people like Sheldon will always treat Mickey extremely good after watching movies like this. But the next day, he will forget about it completely.

Other touching movies I enjoyed are 'the tale of Mari and the 3 puppies' and 'Helen the baby fox' although I don't really think Helen the baby fox is that touching at all. On the other hand, I also like to watch the more frictional ones like 'underdog', 'shaggy dog' etc...

I've always wondered how the people train the star dog so well. It must be a difficult task to film or catch desire actions, expressions and stuff like that.


My cute little Thumper is a musician at heart!


Adam is helping his friend to take care of this dog call Rexy. A Beagle-Daschund crossbreed. Ok, the name is actually Rex but I find Rexy catchier and nicer. The dog is quite old with lots of health problems. I can see sadness and the craving for affection when I look into Rexy's eyes.

OH! I bought something very cute yesterday-Mickey and Minnie pen.

Its not just a normal couple pen. The cute thing is that when you place the 2 mice together in kissing position, their eyes will actually close. How affectionate!

And Minnie mouse got extremely long eye lashes. Remind me of fake eye lash, I don't like.
