MY 21st BIRTHDAY

I celebrated my birthday a few times with different group of people here and there. But my official celebration is on the 26th of Oct.

Lets talk about the happy stuff first.

My makeup artist, Chris, is late as usual. We rushed through the hairdo and makeup, and flew to boat quay(thanks to Kopi).

I let my men set up the buffet while the other friends help me up with the decorations. Soon after everything was done, friends started rolling in, with presents of course!

Kopi was complaining hungry all the while, hence the look on his face.



People mountain, people sea.

After everybody helped themselves to the food, I opened premium bottles for each table and everyone started to drink crazily. Esp the Navy people.

This is how we judge the level of sobriety in guys.

I bought Light sticks too and everyone has one or more.

Oh man, I'm so busy the whole night! All i remember was me running up and down the stairs fetching my friends.

At approximately 11pm, we took out the cake and sang my birthday song in 3 different language. English, Chinese and the Cantonese version.

I felt very ironical. This is because before cutting the cake, I announced over the microphone to everyone warning them not to play with the cake if not I will literally kill anyone who touches my face.

Even my long lost Jacelyn came. I'm so touched!
There are people whom I thought will come never came and people whom I thought will never come came. Well at the very least, they informed me of their absence with sincere apologies.

Lets do another sobriety check...

I didn't do any better either. I was already in dream land by 1pm and all thanks to Sheldon for trying to lift me up, I puked due to the sickly motion. SORRY JOEY!
I went home shortly after that.

Although some shitty things happened during the celebration, I'm very glad that the feedback I received from most of my friends are a enjoyable one.

People have been asking questions with regards of me being displeased during the celebration.

This is the series of unpleasent event happened during that day.

Weeks before, I booked a pub and planned everything for the celebration. I thought everything will go perfectly fine as I've planned. But the most horrible thing that happened is I trusted the wrong person.

A day before my birthday, I reminded the guy called Lincoln whom I put everything in charge of, who is also one of the boss to be at the pub by 7.30pm SHARP. He repeatedly assured me that he will make sure everything goes smoothly. And guess what time he reach? 8pm. My Buffet guy is already downstairs waiting for the pub to be open. As a result, there is delay in the set up and some guest has arrived.

When I question him on his late arrival, he say he gotta go fetch his waitress or something which is for me, an invalid excuse.

Everything he promised to do before my celebration did not happen. He say he will service the aircon, clear the stocks at the back, bring up more chairs. None of this happened except for the chairs. Talking bout the chairs, I'm damn freaking mother fucking pissed!!!

Halfway through the party, there was an black out because of some short ciruit problem. Well, I know I really can't blame him for this inccident but it did add on to my anguish.

Lastly, he without my consent shifted my friends here and there so that his customer can come in to sit. In our agreement, the whole pub is mine for the night and piority will be given to me. Not his customers!

He repeatedly aplogise to me saying that its very hard to reject his regular customers. I got so pissed off that I shouted at the boss. KNN!!! My birthday still piss me off. Of course angry la!

They offer to give me free bottles and etc but I got even more angry saying that if they can't keep their promise, they should let me know earlier. I can always book another pub easily. Money who don't have? But face and pride I have only 1.

Where got people do business like that want? I hate people who don't deliver wad they promise and will never ever in my whole life go back there again.

Thats about it. Anyway, as long as my friends did enjoy themselves, i'm contented.

YEAH!!! I'm 21 and I've been having a lot of mix feelings. I'm a adult, but i don't want to grow up. (o_O)
