I'm 23!

As reluctant as it is, I'm another year older and I don't like it!

23, no achievement, no house, no car, no life, aging, growing side ways, small boobs, and the list goes on...

Went to Tippling club at Dempsey road for dinner on the eve of my birthday, 27th October, wednesday night.

Had 8 course French crusine so by the time the last course was served, I was already very full. After desert, I went to use the washroom and I was surprised by a birthday cake when I came out.

After cutting cake and forcing myself to eat more, we went down to boat quay for some drinks.

Many thanks to Jun Hao for planning the pleasant celebration and the effort in the present.

Went to work hungover the next day and Diana sort of surprised me by Bringing Aston lunch down to shop.

Dad called and sang a little birthday song...

Dad: (singing) Happy birthday to you

Me: Thank you

Dad: That's all I can give you (still in singing tune)

Me: boo hoo hoo (jokingly)

Dad: (sudden serious tone) You got money or not?

Me: Ya... of cos

Dad: A lot?

Me: No la...

Dad: ok, tonight give you money...

(O_o")

Yvonne planned a surprised for me at Obar along with Peter.

Peter's acting was really good... He asked me out for dinner and then went on about how he really had a bad day cos he got scolded by his boss so he really need a drink badly.

Yvonne on the other hand was superb. She messaged me on the day before asking how I'm gonna celebrate on the actual day. I simply replied "No plans". Then she tried to raise my hopes up high saying how she's gonna plan something and make me die(drunk).

So, on the actual day, she messaged me saying that she got some other programs hence she wouldn't be celebrating or planning anything for me like what she promised. I wasn't angry or anything but when I logged in to facebook, I saw this.

Was quite upset after seeing this as I wondered what 'friends' could be so important to make her go back on her words.

After dinner, Peter and me proceed to Obar. As I walked in, I saw Yvonne, Allan Julie, Jiali, Sara, Jonathan and Andrew already seated by the table. Although my expression didn't show it, I was surprised k! Although before that I already suspected something was going on when I saw Allan crossing the over head bridge as he acted like he's on his way home.

Anyways,

I was touched...

I had fun...

And I was totally abused!

Oh wells, can't blame them for this when I'm always smashing cake on their face when its their birthday.

Thanks to all who turned up.

Many thanks for the birthday cake and Yvonne who planned the birthday bash for me. I smelled like party foam spray and my hair stunk to the max!

Thanks to Amelia and Jiali for the La Senza voucher although I don't really have the time to go shopping.

Peter gave me this lovely necklace as my birthday present way before my birthday. He says it symbolizes the key to his heart. My mum on the other end was funny. She saw the pendant and exclaims "becareful! He's trying to lock your heart!!!" Ahhhha funny stuff!

Drank four days straight as I met up with Peter, his friend Niki, Jingwen and Jianwei at clarkquay on the following Friday. Totally tiring! Hop around from highlander to Indochine to Shanghai Dolly with Jiali.

Peter booked a room at marina mandarin for a night over the weekends as a treat for my birthday(or rather himself). Lazed around in the hotel room, went to Vivo-No signboard for crabs and till then its PARTY TIME for the Saturday night as we celebrate halloween at Butter factory.

LOL I was surprise that after drinking straight for four days, not to mention deprived of sleep, I'm still able to keep it up to only tipsy. Guess it was the Mind-over-body effect as I'm suppose to be on good behavior over the weekends. *Ahem*

When I finally got home, Mum got me a super belated birthday cake. At least this year she bother to buy a small cake rather then just give me money.
