Chinese New Year 2010

Organized a friends reunion dinner on the 11th of Feb at Bugis-chuan yi pin. It was actually Jia Li's idea to have the dinner but don't know why the ball is always thrown to me when it comes to organizing stuff.

Met the guys and started dinner around 10.30pm. Super shiok steamboat dinner with freshly sliced beef and pork. *slurps

She's wearing a pair of killer heels which is 4 inches or more. But when we stood up straight next to each other, she's still shorter then me in her heels. This is why I can hardly take offence when people tells me I'm short. LOL tell me about it.

The waiter is kinda stress while taking our group photos. There's isn't enough space for him to move backwards in order to capture all of us. I then ask him to go into the bushes so a bigger picture could be taken. (So mean)

Someone then suggest us to stand from the shortest to the tallest. Immediately Jia Li gave a sad face and stand by the side. So cute la her expression.

After the filling dinner, actually I'm not really full but my jaws are tired from all the chewing, we went to Princep place-plasma ktv pub for drinks and the girls started taking loads of pictures.

Chris is very distinctive due to her blonde head while me and Jia Li are just regular boring black heads. HAHA

There's a funny story behind this dress I was wearing. Allan and I was shopping and I went to try on this dress. Allan then ask me to wear it out and let him see but I refused to step out because the back will reveal my bra and there's lots of people outside the fitting room. So Allan came into my fitting room instead. Then the sales guy was like shouting outside saying that we can't both go into the fitting room in a worried tone. I then laughed so hard because its was so funny when it happened. As if we wanna use their fitting room and hanky panky. Zzzz

Allan went to some chinese temple and get a talisman thingy for me. Its supposed to be blessings for one and to keep one safe?

Although I don't believe a piece of paper nor cloth nor jewelry nor statue can do anything on its own much to say protect you, I still appreciate the thought, the time and effort. Thanks buddy!

Allan: Hey Yiru! You know how to get 'fu' from Loyang Tua Pek Kong temple?

Me: *blur* huh?

Allan: repeats himself.

Me: *WTF* Uncle! I'm a Christian leh! Isn't it silly to ask me? As if I will know!

Allan: Hey do you think its appropriate if I give this 'fu' to a Christian friend of mine?

Me: *Wondering if the Christian friend refers to me or he have lots of Christian friends.* Depends if the person mind or not lor. For me I don't believe such things la, but then again, its the thoughts that counts.

Allan: Mind bout what?

Me: Don't know, but maybe some people don't like. Don't you think its weird to give your Christian friends that? Like I also won't know what to do with it.

Allan: Weird meh? Won't wad...

Me: Is like me giving you a cross. What are you do with it? Will you hang it on your wall or keep it in your drawer?

Allan: LOL thinking bout my words.

End of the day, I kept the 'fu' in my drawer because mum will probably throw it away and give me a good scolding for keeping such stuff when she sees it lying around.

Went to Malaysia-Muar for Chinese New Year visitation on the first day and came out on the third.

Complains:

- I don't know why the word 'full' is not in my dictionary every time I go Malaysia. 1 day can eat 5 times. Horrible! Gotta shed it off the next few days.

- Internet connection super slow and disconnects every few minutes! Vomit blood can!

- Must creep behind my uncle's bus to smoke.

- Adults and relatives keep talking to me. I smile away but in my mind I was shouting "STOP TALKING TO ME!" I just want some peace especially when I just woke up and not in the mood to entertain this people.

- Every year they asks the same common questions!

-The only thing to look forward to during my stay there is food.

- This is also how I spend my Valentine's day since I don't have a boyfriend around to celebrate it with.

The person I talked most to is my little cousin.

Then again, she keep asking me to let her play my psp when its my only entertainment there.

Thank God I'm back!

Poor baby was waiting for me at the door from 10pm to the next morning howling and crying refusing to go to bed. If only I could bring her along to Malaysia.
